Refund & Return Policy

At GO MATA ORIGINAL GHEE, we take extreme pride in the quality and purity of our handcrafted Desi Cow Ghee. Since ghee is a perishable dairy/food product, we operate under strict food safety guidelines regarding returns and refunds.
1. Cancellations
You may request to cancel your order at any time before the product is dispatched. Once your order has been handed over to our shipping courier partners and a tracking number is generated, the order cannot be cancelled.

2. Returns Policy
Due to the consumable nature of food items, we **do not accept returns** on opened jars or simply for a change of mind. However, returns or replacements are fully applicable if:
- The product is received in a damaged condition (e.g. broken glass jar).
- The vacuum seal is broken or tampered with at the time of delivery.
- You received an incorrect item or size option.
You must notify us of any damages or incorrect orders within 7 days of delivery, along with clear photos of the damaged product and parcel label.
3. Refund Process
- Upon approval of your return/damage claim, we will initiate a refund.
- Refunds are processed back to your **original payment source** (bank account, credit/debit card, UPI) through our secure payment gateway (Razorpay).
- Approved refunds will be credited to your account within 5-7 business days, subject to your bank's processing times.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be transferred via bank transfer or UPI once you provide valid bank credentials.
